OMGGGGG I AM LITERALLY PANICKING!! UC Santa Cruz and UC Berkeley deadlines to receive my test scores are in 3 days and my scores from Collegeboard are still pending!!! what's going to happen!!!????

buuuump!! EMERGENCY!!

i don’t think you need to worry, as long as you have sen the scores in already. if they haven’t received it, it just means that no one in the admissions office has checked the online connection to Collegeboard. It’s no fault of yours. I think the admissions office is closed for the winter break, hence no one has received them. If you have sent them already, take a breather.

I hope you’re right… or else I’m not getting in anywhere

I sent in my scores to Cornell on 22nd Dec but they still haven’t received it, cuz the admissions office is closed till 3rd jan…

yea but when do they say their deadline is to receive them. On collegeboard, for example, it says “12/31: U Calif Berkeley: SAT Reasoning / ACT score report due”
I’m not sure if that means they need to have the scores by them or i have to request to send them by then.

buuuummppp - would like to hear from more people just to be sure

Scores do not have be in their hands by end of December. When they have been asked (including in university blogs), the UCs have responded that they want scores in their hands by no later than mid-January. If you have ordered scores sent you will be fine.

For Cornell which will even accept Jan test scores, scores can arrive after deadline and if you have ordered them sent you are fine.

Another question… how long will scores be “pending” before they are actually sent?

It takes around 1-2 weeks for scores to be sent regularly.
