Would January score be too late? Our friends all told me that some schools even won’t accept January scores. If you are a junior, it is fine taking it again. For senior, it is bit too late.

what a weird curve… appears like international curve and the domestic one’s are quite different

^The tests are usually different, hence the curves are usually different. But that curve is a very harsh one, meaning that the CR section was determined to be unusually easy.

The equating/experimental sections are used to eliminate the quality of the students taking the test as a variable in determining the difficulty of the test. The resulting curve depends only on the difficulty of the test relative to other SATs, not on the performance of those taking the test.

again I say, CB’s definition of easy must be extremely different from mine.

I’m still angry about my CR score -__- I was fine before I saw the score report because I thought I prob got 7 or so wrong, not 5

-2 = 780 CR
-1 = 770 M (***?)
-3+12 essay = 760 W…

so annoyed…

For me Nov 5 - 2 wrong in math (all the rest correct) = 740

i got 4 mistakes in math, and got 690. -_-

@magnoli

Wow about the writing… entirely different performances, same score!

I’m amazed that

-3, 12E (yours)

and

-2, 9E (mine)

warrant the same score(760)!

@Faustia Did you sit the international or domestic test? I’m international and I think the curves are quite different.

@FluffyNoly 0.0 that’s unfair!!! that should at least be a 710! wow CB is getting out of hand with this curve!

710 is a good score. If you don’t like the curve, take it again. They had some easy questions and you got some wrong - so what?

I took the domestic.

3 wrong, 4 omitted, 690 critical reading n__n

-9 = 660, that’s for sure

W: -1/10e = 800
