SAT scores - can I send them in January?

I've taken my SAT and SAT subject tests and have my scores already; but i'd like to wait until January so that I can re-take my subject tests (I think I can do better) and send them those scores. Do you think I can wait until January to send them the whole thing?

Thank you,
Alan Morales.

Not a wise course. Half the colleges require all testing to be completed by Dec and want scores by mid-Jan. Then many of those that accept Jan tests strongly advise that you send prior scores earlier, say they accept Jan scores only if they arrive on time to be considered, and to have that happen you must designate college as one to automatically receive scores in your test application, such as one of your free sends, and thus order scores sent without knowing what they are. That delivery is faster than rush delivery and if you wait to order after scores come out it may be too late even if you order rush. Also, there is always the risk something can go wrong with the Jan test resulting in late release of or a hold on the scores with the result that no scores get to the college on time.
