SAT scores from May 5th Test

D just got them (12:15 AM or so EST).

yeah i got mine too :D SO RELIEVED!!

i cant see my score????

Just got mine and went up 100 points. I couldn't be more pleased.

my score got delayed to the 30th......Y?????
anybody have this experience?
thanks

My writing score went up 60 points, reading stayed the same, and math dropped 20 points. Overall, it was a good and bad test at the same time -.-

My writing increased by 120 pts, but my CR decreased by 30 and math by 10. Will colleges use my highest CR and Math scores when determining my "total score"?

i just got mine!!!

1820 - 9 on the Essay.

First shot, no studying..not sure if I should be glad or not.

okay correct me if i'm wrong....writing was pretty good, math was decent, and reading was difficult/bad as usual (on the basis of scores)

This new SAT..does the essay not really count? Also, a lot of my friends use the practice of only adding two of the scores together and leaving one of the third sections out to get their score. Which is the third section they are leaving out?

i think they leave out the writing

Mucho gracias.

CR down by 30 pts (ouch) Math up by 10 pts and Writing up by 60 pts. Think D will take ONE more time in October.....maybe. Anyone know what the average point increase is without any prep cause she won't do prep again.

My daughter went up 70 points without any prep (on her third SAT). She went up 10 points each in math and critical reading and 50 points in writing. She dosen't want to retake them in the fall.

Test Date Test Score National Percentile
05/2007 SAT Reasoning Test
Critical Reading 800 99%
Math 750 98%
Writing 750 99%
Multiple Choice 78 (score range: 20-80)
Essay 8 (score range: 2-12)

argh this was my first time taking the test, was hoping to do well. was pretty shocked that i lost marks on math, although i was pretty much expecting a bad mark for the essay as i'd never seen an essay prompt like that before. :P

will colleges look unfavorably at the essay score of 8?

Critical Reading 800
Math 550
Writing 670

your scores are very good danieleio, if i were you the essay would be the LAST thing on my mind

My son got 560/cr; 560/writing and 680 in math. Does anyone know what percentiles these scores fall in? This was his first time and I doubt he will take them again for the schools he is looking at.

I'm surprised there isn't that much of a response. On the Jan. 27th test, people were falling over themselves trying to post their scores. Any reason for this?
