<p>You need to send an offical college board report to lots of colleges. Your transcript is not official, so they won't take it.</p>
<p>Although there are some colleges that accept scores reported on transcripts (subject to submission of verifying offical report after being admitted), most require that you have the testing service send an offical report to be considered for admission. The one you are referring to that says transcript received but not scores most likely requires official scores from the testing agency.</p>

<p>It's better than my school, where the transcript officer told everyone that the scores on transcript are official and noone needs to tell the testing agency to send the test scores. Many people believed that before I had to tell them otherwise.</p>
