Okay I was wondering a few things.:
How important are SAT scores?
Does it matter when you take it? (i.e. will a 2400 taken in highschool be viewed the same as a 2400 taken in college?)
Do GMAT scores take it's place COMPLETELY once you take it?
Do companies in other countries require it (namely looking at western northern Europe)?
Thanks, I'm still in high school but I dont feel like my school (project based, rarely tests, and no APs has prepared me for the test AT ALL.

College GPA and SAT scores are important in the sense that bad ones can keep you out of IB, but good scores won’t necessarily get you in. In general, if you go to a target school, a GPA of 3.5 (in college) is the cutoff. An SAT score of 2100 or higher is good enough to put on your resume. These things can be more important if you go to a non-target school. GMAT scores matter even less than the SAT for IB.

But as I said earlier, GPA and SAT serve only to get you cut out of IB. If you’ve got a low GPA and SAT score, you won’t be considered. If you have a good GPA and SAT, you may be considered, but you need other things to break in (i.e. internships, ECs, interviews).

Also, don’t blame your school for not preparing you. Grab a study guide and start doing practice tests. Blaming others won’t get you far.
