For anyone who took the SAT's last fall or later, has UCSD verified your scores? Mine still haven't been verified (i.e., my self-reported scores don't match up with the scores they've received). I want to get this part over with before it becomes a major problem, so any comments would be appreciated.

what do you mean they dont match?
... you should probably call.

That means you reported wrong scores? That happened to me on one of my scores, I called and got it fixed. BTW, do we have to submit our ACT scores?

No, what I mean is that I reported the scores on the test I took in October of 2006 but when I check the list of scores that the school HAS received, it's not there yet. Should I call them?

yeah call them

Maybe collegeboard messed up and did not send your scores correctly, either that, or when you told collegeboard to send the scores, you sent it to the wrong school. I hear that some people had this problem because UC San Diego is sometimes confused for another institution in San Diego on Collegeboard's list (I forgot which school).

san diego university

No. People confuse UCSD with University of San Diego

^ That's the one.

i was referring to the same school hehe

Hm...but when I check collegeboard, it shows that I sent the scores to UCSD. Even if the names are similar, I doubt they'd mess up the college codes. Well, I'm still calling anyways.

Call Collegeboard too

Yup called both. Turns out UCSD hasn't received it. I called collegeboard and they resent it. It'll take 3-5 weeks for the school to get it, think that'll be fine?

wandering mystic, what numbers did you call? I think I have the same problem.

Well, first I called the Office of Admissions, which is (858) 564-4831 to verify whether or not they had received my scores. Then I called Collegeboard directly at (212) 713-8000.
