hello everybody!
I just have a quick question regarding how colleges consider the SAT SUbject test for math 2.
So, i just got my scores back, and I got 800 on Math 2.
however, my highest SAT i math score (out of the two times that i’ve taken the sat ) is 740.
do colleges look at the subject test score for math 2 instead of the sat i math scor and kind of replace it with the subject test one?
or should i take the sat i the third time to bump up my sat score?
Thanks!
They’re two separate scores, you can’t replace or use them interchangeably. 740 is good, don’t sweat it!
They won’t replace the other score. They can consider that you got an 800 on the test but it won’t compensate for your 740 (which isn’t bad BTW). It’s up to you if you want to retake a third time.
I wouldn’t recommend you retaking your SAT to bump up a 740 when you scored an 800 on Math 2. You are obviously competent in math, and a few more points on your SAT isn’t going to change that. Chill.
