@Lebronjamesisbad my bad i misread the thread. I got 48 too
@aspaspasp i got 48 or something like that cuz there were 24 pairs so there should be 48 total chromosomes in a body cell
@Lebronjamesisbad yeah thats what I thought but some people got 23 as an answer somewhere
did anyone else think the karyotype matching was sorta tricky…
^^ me me me. Tbh even after googling I’m still not sure about some of the answers
I don’t think you should be discussing this test since the West Coast has yet to take it!
I put 48 for # in somatic, 24 for # passed on from mother, and 25 for the triosome abnormal thing. For the first part with ribosomes, cytoplasm, I put rib for protein synthesis, cyto for captures energy, cyto for photosynthesis, and nucleus for what is necessary in all eukaryotic cells. idk
what about something along the lines of “partially existent for duration of the cell in all eukaryotic cells?” i put centrioles
@YoLolololol I don’t think it said partially, so I put nucleus
was that in the M section?
@otrastudying
I’m pretty sure it was in the general section about #20 ish?
and @YoohooAddict
it said for a short duration of the cell cycle or something so i put centrioles.
its not centrioles… plant cells don’t have them guys it’s nucleus
@Suly99 That’s what I put thank god
Guys what did you put for the question 84 in M section about lymphocytes? I put C
I left that one blank lol.
For the one about which plant produced seeds (I think it was in E section) did anyone else get B (the weird word that began with a C)? I never saw it before and I knew all the others so thats what I picked but idk
Fern
For chromosome one was it 23,24,49,48
the first part asked for somatic cell which is 48 chromosomes
Nope the chromosomes were 48, 24, 25, 24
