I signed up for the SAT subject test for November 8th, 2014. I'm not doing early decision so I think I'll get the scores back before regular decision.

I took the test in June and got a 680. And I'm planning to get a 800 this time :)

Also, this is the only SAT subject test I am taking, I didn't want to but my mom insisted.

Right now, I have the barron's SAT subject test book.

How should I study for this test? And How much per day?

I am not sure I get the rationale behind taking just one. Most schools that recommend or require the SAT IIs suggest two.

@Poohbah29 , that is what I told my mother but she made me take at least 1 subject test because its better than none

Perhaps your guidance counselor and/or college counselor at school can help you sort out whether or not it makes sense. If you pull your mom into the conversation than she will have a better understanding of the value of the test. While I understand the need for these tests for some schools (DD took 2 herself) I do think too many kids simply do too much testing.

If you’ve taken up to precalculus in math, you should be prepared. I thought the subject test was similar to the SAT’s math except that it went up to Law of Sines and Law of Cosines. I would review trig and functions (parabola, hyperbola, etc.)
