<p>How many SAT 2's do colleges require (have heard that Georgetown requires 3 but son is not applying there). He has taken 2 so far, and I dont think he has plans to take more, but was wondering just in case.</p>

<p>Two to four seems to be widely accepted as the norm around here.</p>
<p>The best way to do this is to look and see what the requirements are for the schools you are interested in. Assuming you are not a homeschooler, most schools don’t require any. Most of those in the top tier require two (and sometimes have specifics as to which two) and a very few, like Harvard, require three.</p>
