SAT Subject Tests...retake?

I recently took the SAT Subject Tests. I got:
Physics: 760
Math II: 790
US History: 680

I'm mostly concerned about the US History, which I know I could just not send. I took the subject tests having not studied very much due to upcoming AP Lit exam. I took the AP US History exam and having then studied significantly more, think I got a 4 or 5.

When applying, will the AP score provide enough information to not need to send the US History score? And, if the AP score won't suffice, is it worth it to retake the US History subject test in October?

If it is helpful, I'm interested in studying Architecture. The schools I'm currently looking at are Barnard, Rice, Tulane, UVA, Carnegie Mellon, Wash. U, and a few small liberal arts colleges as safeties.

Also, my ACT is 34 and my SAT is 2120. Is it even worth it to worry about Subject tests when my ACT is stronger?

I’m not completely positive about all of this stuff but here’s my opinion: Your ACT is already great, and your math 2 and physics are really good too! None of those colleges require more than 2 subject tests, or maybe even none at all for some of them, I’m not really sure, but I’d say your application is already strong with these 2 subject tests and your act (and sat, but I’d say that your act is a little stronger). You don’t need to submit US History as long as these colleges accept score choice, but if you feel motivated to retake it than you can if you want. I think your AP score would show your knowledge though! I’m honestly not sure how much of a difference subject tests can make, I’m still figuring that out myself (I hope I can get a couple high 700s on my subject tests next week), but congrats on getting some solid scores!
