Sat Subject Tests

So I got my test results back from the October date and did not do as well as I had hoped. I come from a school that encourages and grooms students to take the ACT, so some of the procedural discrepancies surely affected my score (guessing is encouraged on ACT but penalised in most cases on SAT). I can still register for the November date, but I am not sure I would be able to improve my scores by then. Would it be worn it to sin up again for November, since it is the last date for Princeton’s early application?

i don’t think it would be considered a" sin" to retake the tests if they would put you in a better light. Don’t retake if you aren’t going to heavily prep for them and don’t expect improvement, however. That would be silly. Good luck!

@Falcon1 Would not retaking them and either not sending these scores or sending them and they’re sub-par reflect badly upon me?

If they’re subpar, don’t send them to Princeton since they’re not required. Sending two high scores is preferable to sending no scores at all, imo, but you gotta do what you gotta do.

Send the highest of the two test dates to the univ
