SAT Subject Tests

Met with the school counselor this morning to discuss DD (rising junior) schedule. I asked her about SAT subject tests and was told that these are only applicable to those looking to go to a Top 20 school.

DD will not go that route but is interested in public Honors programs. Should she take the subject tests or are they not considered by these types of schools?

Nope. She won’t need them for most public honors programs. Double check the schools’ admissions information to be sure but none of the schools my daughter applied required or recommended them.
