i'm currently a year 12 student (senior) in Australia and am really considering applying to NYU to study there next year - most likely at Tisch, but i'm also looking at Steinhardt.

i did the SAT reasoning test about two weeks ago, but i've missed the deadline for registering for any subject test dates (there's only two dates in Australia this year to sit any tests).
so about the new testing policy at NYU (New Standardized Testing Policy for 2011), does this mean i can JUST submit my SAT reasoning test score and NOT any subject tests?

any info is greatly appreciated!

It looks like it.

Wow, you’re lucky. When I applied last year, I had to do the SAT test and two subject tests, and I also missed the deadline - the tests are also only held twice here in Israel as well, so I ended up submitting only SAT test results without the subject tests results. I got in anyway (Tisch film/television), but I was sure I would never get in. Glad to see they removed the subject test requirements and allow to just submit SAT results. No other film school required subject test results, everyone else needed only the SAT I.

Good luck!

okay i’m confused now: [International Applicants](<a href=“How to Apply”>How to Apply)

it says i do need to do more than just the SAT reasoning test…

Perhaps they have not updated the page yet? I would call and ask.
