Hi I'm applying to Duke, Stanford, Wellesley, and Yale and I'm wondering what SAT twos to submit?

I currently have Literature 800, US History 800, and French w/ Listening 790. (My SAT 1's are 800 CR, 790 M, 800 W.) I plan to major in public policy/political science. Do I need to take Math? If I do, need I submit it to any school other than Wellesley? Wellesley is the only school that outright requires a quantitative. I know my math SAT two won't be as strong. That is why I'm asking.

I hope someone will have already answered this for you.. if not, this is what I know. No, you do not need to submit it to another school if you're applying as public policy/political science. The adcom will see it, though, as all your SAT scores from every sitting and every test will be sent when you send your score report. From what I have heard after talking to ad reps from the likes of Stanford, Harvard, and Duke and others, adcoms look at your highest SAT II scores. So if they require 2 of any kind and you have 3, they'll use your top 2 when considering you as an applicant. Hope that helped.

u need normally 2 sat iis now since the sat contains the writing section; however, to schools like yale and stanford math ii is recommended or required (check their website). additionaly, it depends on ur major sat ii's u take. also, ur sat ii's r mostly lang/ hist. either take a math or science...it will help. gr8 scores though! congrats

Yale requires any 3 SAT IIs, Stanford recommends 2 including math IIc.

wellesley does not require a quantative SAT2. they prefer that one be quantative, but it is not required. i asked a senior member of admissions and she was very clear on this.

this was posted a while back and wellesley's requirements have been updated
