I’m currently filling out the Clemson app and it asks if I’ve taken SAT and/or ACT. I have a 30 ACT and 1280 SAT, meaning my ACT score is better. I’m also planning on taking ACT in September. Should I select that I’ve taken the SAT as well if I’m not planning on sending my score?
If you don’t attach a score to the fact that you have taken the SAT, I don’t know why it would help you with admission. I feel like that might just confuse them. Either way they will judge your ACT score, because it is the better of the two. I’m sure this is not a really big deal whatever you decide to do. I feel like that section is just for the tests that you want for them to see. I am only submitting my best ACT score, and they will never even see the others. I feel like it is the same thing with this SAT issue. Why mention it if they are not going to ever see it?
Hope it helps! But if you are really worried about it, you could always call Clemson. The admissions counselors were very helpful when I called to ask to ask a few questions.
Send both, they’ll take your highest score .
