My son has the following scores which are very skewed:

PSAT = 226
SAT = 1580 (out of 2400)
ACT = 25

What should he do? Re-take the SAT? Please help!

Thanks!

For sure he need to retake SAT or he would not be qualified for NMF. He need to do more practice test. Is he problem in essay writing, or in the endurance for taking a 3+ hours test?
This does not look real at all. It looks more like another trolling thread.

What are the breakdown of section scores in each test?

Agree that this does not look real. If it is, I would be on the lookout for a personal, medical or other issue causing the dramatic drop from PSAT to subsequent tests. Are there other similar changes happening in other areas of his life?

Not to be mean about your son, and please don’t take this the wrong way, but is there a chance he sat next to someone who he “compared his answers with” during the PSAT who was really smart?

Perhaps he miss bubbled on the SAT? One of my friends did and got a 1120 but then retook it and got a 2190
