<p>If you take the SAT but then take the ACT....can u only send your ACT scores if they are better.....or if you take the SAT does it have to be sent</p>

<p>I visited Columbia and the admissions officer said that they only consider you best test score whether it be the act or sat so it wouldn't really hurt you to send both. But i think you can send only your act scores or only your sat scores if you want to. but if you do chose to send your sat scores then any and all of them will be sent (all sat 1s and sat 2s ever taken)</p>
<p>you have to send sat 2s which are required so on the score report your SAT 1 scores will be listed as well. Though adcoms can say that they will "only look at your best scores" nothing is preventing them from considering everything they see about you. (unless of course its something like religion, the consideration of which would be discriminatory)</p>

<p>yes, at least thats how it was when i was applying... and if anything they'v become stricter with reporting scores</p>
