sc vs. texas

Fantastic game...one of the best i've seen all season....I love how it ended

I say he becomes a receiver. He is good, but not strong enough passing wise to make it in the nfl, at elast I don't think so.

trojans - can prevent STDs, can't prevent VinceTDs

Greatest game ever played. No argument. Vince is basically a god, and his passing should not be suspect at all anymore. He is the best college football player in the country.

Wow, that game was freakin awesome. Vince is unstoppable.

Matt Leinart and Reggie Bush did not bring their A-game... sigh

That was a great game. Honestly I was pretty indifferent as far as who won. I'm not a Texas fan, however since I go to UCLA, there is no way I could root for USC. So I will admit I was glad to see them lose. With that said, that game featured some of the best college football players in recent memory. If Young enters the draft (which he is not expected to do) it'll be interesting to watch who the top 5 people drafted are. I still think Reggie is a lock for #1, but after that it's anyones guess.

did anyone see reggie bush do his first touch down? he basically jumped, landed on his back then stood up, bascially doing a backflip..

One day he's going to break his neck doing that and he'll have no one to blame but himself for showing off all the time.

Yeah I've had the thought that Bush is going to break his neck one of these times. I don't think it's showing off as much as trying anything for an extra yard or so. I think once he hits the NFL, coaches there will put a stop to it. I however think if he ever tries to do another lateral like he did last night, it'll be the coach that breaks his neck!

the strip call people are referring to was in the 4th quarter, when a Texan WR was brought down and the question was whether his knees were on the ground and the play was over before the ball came out of his hands.

woo hoo! texas won! usc the superior team...hah! GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LONGHORNS!!!!!

^^^^he was so on his knees. did u see the replays? he was on both knees and had one elbow on the ground when he let go of the ball. that was a good and honest call from the ref.

can the mvps be on the losing team? for example...could reggie bush gotten the mvp?

Vince Young won't be going to the NFL...didn't you all here em say "we'll be back" after the game?...he's going to be absolutely unstoppable next year though....unless he gets hurt, I'm sure Young'll be first pick for '07...it's hard to compare 2 different positions, but I still believe Bush outdoes Young; however, Young outdoes Leinhart...overall...fantastic game...so exciting to watch..would've been even better if they'da gone in to overtime!

But yes....Young's gonna be naaaaaaaaaaaaaaasty next year.....he figured out his strengths this year and he'll perfect them next year....

And Reggie Bush has some moves.....he shows off when he can, but he puts his feet in the right places when he has to.....

When Reggie runs, he lower his shoulder and it looks he is working. But when Vince takes off, it just seems so effortless.

MVPs can be for the losing team, I think the MVP of one of the early Super Bowls played for the loser. Vince Young is coming out, bar none. He will be a QB in the NFL. He is 6'5" for god sakes, he has the height and the mobility (duh!) He will need to unorthodox his delivery and learn to stay in the pocket longer if he wants to be a success in the NFL. Randle El was switched to WR because he is only 5'11" way to short to be an NFL QB. Young will probably go 2nd or 3rd to the Saints or the Titans.

LOL, Michael Vick is 6'0", what's the difference? I think Randle El, like Vince Young should be, was changed to WR because he isn't an accurate enough passer, and has too much of a tendency to run the ball.

i dont think Young will be that good in the NFL. NFL defense is so much better, his little option pass plays just won't cut it.

I seriously think Young will make a fine NFL receiver for somebody...but his QB skills will not pass the NFL test. If he thinks he'll be able to just run over NFL LB's, he'll be broken in half by pre-season game 1.

ahh yes, an NFL receiver is an entirely different story, I was simply talking about being a QB
