SCAD Interior Design vs. Drexel Interior Design?

Which is better?

Scad’s program is ranked #1 in the country by Design Intelligence. Have you been to Savannah yet? I am touring with my daughter for architecture and saw scad last week, though I want to look at Drexel as well. I adored Savannah- and wasn’t expecting to. It’s a very vibrant , creative scene. The arch and interior design ( and urban studies programs) are all in the same building- an old completely restored train depot. The entire package at savannah was very appealing and one student we talked to down there ( a student NOT provided by the admission dept) said all the architects and interior designers have a strong track record post-graduation. But I do know their Int Design program is renowned.

My kid is in her fifth year in a BArch program and we’re from PA. We did a lot of research and campus tours for design schools. I didn’t even know that Drexel had an interior design program. By far and away, assuming that the finances are okay, SCAD is the better choice.

Do remember, however, that if you want to change majors, an art school like SCAD will be somewhat limited in options.
