scaled score

i know theres tonsss of topics on this already but i'm using the blue book and the ranges are really bigg. does anyone know past real SAT scales that I can use? thank youu!!

yea i no its a huge range i would like too know that too if anyone has any...

bumppp

pleaseee any links to past scales would be amazinggg

Haha I just made a thread about this, take the average of the scores they provide, it is a pretty good indicator

thanks but i want to use actual past scales

The scaled scores are based on a curve, and because the papers they provide in the blue book aren't actual past tests, there's no scale for it to be based on. If you do past papers (which I don't think they release for public consumption unless you've already taken the test and are taking the paper home) then you will get a more specific score... But I don't think it's possible with these papers - I just get the average of the upper and lower bounds. Or, if you want to be super cautious, just take the lower bounds and hopefully you'll be pleasantly surprised when you get your real results...

theres 2 on the online course which come with an actual score i believe... im saving those for the day before the test

taking january? so am i
