So my neighbor is telling me that I am gonna regret going to Williams College after 4 years. He says that though the amount they say my family can pay is $10,000 this year, which is affordable for us, that they will increase the EFC next year even if my family income does not change. And he said after a few years, my family will have to pay full tuition even if our circumstances dont change. Now he is scaring me, and Id like to know if that has been anyones experience here? Did you see your EFC change a lot over the years, or has it remained pretty constant and affordable? Thanks

zambia, my daughter is in her second year at Williams and they have not changed the financial aid package. Williams continues to be very generous and I have heard no complaints from anyone about a change in financial aid.

My daughter is a junior. Williams does not play games with financial aid. We qualify for a lot of aid and they come through each year with a generous package. The staff is helpful and I’m sure they would be happy to talk with you regarding your personal circumstances as an admitted student.

Ok, thanks so much…you’ve really helped to ease my worry. I just don’t want to pass up the chance to go to a great school because of aid worries. I feel like that would waste all the hard work I put into highschool to ensure I could go to a school like Williams. I appreciate your help :)

Zambia–the only way your fin aid would change is if your family’s situtaion changes. Williams is able to provide some of the most generous fin aid in the country and is genuine in its committment to do so during your entire career. If you have any concerns, you should call the fa office and talk to them.
