SCEA Applicants

hehe. I wrote my activity essay! finally. now I'm editing it. yeah yeah

for the short answer, did most of you end up writing the full 150 word blurb? or 2 or 3 sentences? I need to write that now. hehe Almsot done, guys! this is so exciting!

I wrote 2 sentences.

I wrote 5 long sentences for it...like 200 words. I know its more than what they wanted, but when I get rejected, I'll at least have an excuse as to why. "No, I was a GREAT candidate...I just wrote 5 instead of 2 or 3 sentences for the short answer." Then i'll proceed to kick myself in the a-s-s

Its 1:10 in the morning and i'm still checking collegeboard.com just in case they posted the SAT scores. Why? Because I am a loser...

hahaha ME 2!!!!!!! hehe

I'm checking now...

Ughh nothing yet. :(

I'm so anxious!

If we all get above 700s, I think a CC party is in order.

The scores were up for a BRIEF moment - just a few minutes after I checked them, they were gone, I'm so lucky to have checked at that time!

Yay, I got the 800 for physics that I was hoping for - which makes a perfect 2400 for SAT II (I took writing and math 2c previously). I'm now wondering if I should retake the SAT I - I got a dismal 690 for verbal.

ARGHHH, I'm dying inside.

i admit it, i checked the scores during class at 2:00 (EST), my class is a circus, there are only 12 people in it, and there was a mouse in the room, which we cornered, carried outside in a trashcan and released. all the while laughing hysterically.. but the point is i did check today and no such luck .

and you know your a dork when you have a "checking SAT II scores dream" or rather nightmare. in my dream i got a 580. yuck.

i mailed everything today.... i wish i could do some more stuff to.... but i guess that always happens after you hit submit... i hate the wait... i want to know but then again i dont want to know...because i know i have 99.9999% chance of getting rejected but im hoping for that .0001%... ahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!

good luck to everyone

yay! 710 verbal, 780 math...which gives me a 1490...one freaking question away from a 1500! ahhhhh! I know...its not great compared to all of you perfect people...but its good for me. Good luck to all

Good job ivyboy!

I'm ebullient myself :). Got a 780 on writing and 770 on math IIC (would have liked 780+, but I'm not complaining :D).

Congrats TJ and newt!

Do we have to rush these scores to Yale?

i think we do.
but im not sure
i emailed my Counsilor and asked if i could add the new writing score before the app is actually mailed.

No, you don't need to rush them. I think there is a link about that very issue on yale.edu/admit actually. I'll try to find it

ahh... too much traffic.

I CANT SEE MY SCORES! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... I checked at school about 5 times. sad. Great job to the rest of you, though!

Congrats to all who did well! I myself messed up big time and got a 680 on the Math II. Well, looks like that Yale dream is getting more and more unattainable.
