I am going into my freshman year and have to make my schedual. I have already planned to take two demanding courses and wanted to know if anyone could give any insight into a class that would fulfill a requirement for the liberal arts school and also not be to tough (easier A). Also how much work is the freshman writing seminar course

If you’re trying to fit a core class into your schedule you might want to consider a sociology class or theology, but they can be a lot of work depending on the class. Freshman writing seminar varies a lot from class to class; some are quite a bit of work and others are very very light on the workload. Look up the teachers on Peps but if you haven’t registered at orientation yet but understand that the “good” classes will most likely be closed. I’d recommend taking Courage To Know as an elective if you want to ease into things. It is very enjoyable and not much work.
