Scholarship Question...

<p>Okay, say somebody gets a full ride to Penn. But, BEFORE knowing that they got accepted, they applied to ALOT of scholarships. Scholarships that don't give you a check directly but send the money straight to the school in order to help make up the difference in tuition. What if said person were to get a $3,000 scholarship....will they ever see that money? What if said person won about $7500 in scholarship money from applying for various scholarships.....will the person get that money or will they not receive anything at all from those scholarships since tuition is already paid?</p>

<p>I imagine Penn will apply it to the fin. aid they gave you (i.e. they won't spend as much of their own $ on you, because they'll use the funding your outside scholarships provide)-I hope I wrote this clearly enough :p</p>
