Hi everyone! I have heard around that there are often scholarships or some sorts of financial aid that a student can get once they are in actually enrolled in a college that are not offered upon acceptance. Does anyone know if BC does this or has these kind of opportunities? BC is my top choice but my financial aid package is not enough for me to be able to attend. However, if there would be a chance for me to get more financial aid or some sort of scholarship once I’m in then that would be good. So, my main question is just to know if BC does this? Hopefully that made some sense… thanks so much!
They just give the top people the full ride but that’s only for 15 people
@sta2017 They will not give you more money when you enroll but may give you a larger financial aid package if your financial situation is different than it was in 2015 which is the tax year financial aid is based on. OR they may give you a larger financial aid package in future years if your financial situation changes such that your parents have less income. They will not increase your financial aid package once you enroll as they have already calculated out your financial aid package and if you enroll, your family has to be prepared to pay what is not covered by financial aid. While BC may be your top choice, if it is financially unattainable, start thinking about your other choices as I am sure you can become just as excited about one of your other choices.
