Anybody know any websites that offer scholarships for people with DACA?? Any help is appreciated! I have been accepted to Temple and I really want to go there but It is expensive and I really need outside scholarships since they did not offer me any aid.
Came across this thread. The DACA scholarships are no longer accepting applications, but what I can tell since I am a DACA recipient is that you should apply to places with large merit scholarships, you can still get those, and I’ve managed well over 200k total across multiple colleges and universities in merit scholarships alone. But that wasn’t enough from one school, and knowing that financial aid and federal grants aren’t options, you need to need to apply to schools that recognize DACA and are willing to extend financial aid to the said person, AND OR universities that offer aid to International Students. (For example, all the ivies do). I came across a PDF that details the schools with this DACA financial aid policy in detail, including all of them as of 2017. (The programs tend to bar you from being a transfer and have varying other conditions) Ill link the PDF, and you can see your options there. BTW columbia specifically has a part of the common app for DACA, so its not like colleges are ignorant of your circumstances. If you have anymore questions feel free to inbox me.
BTW I applied and got accepted to Temple, no aid extended, tried contacting and explaining, no return replies, I gave up on it. And if your in the northeast region of America, you’re very lucky because you have many options here in this region for DACA recipients. Im from NJ, so it was good location for options.

Does the OP of this thread have the strength in an application to get accepted to an Ivy League school?..where really it’s not a slam dunk for admissions for anyone?
Also…hoping that it’s not too late for these scholarships to be available…don’t some of them have deadlines that have passed?
@thumperr while the ivy leagues tend to be the most viable financially in the DACA situation, there any many other good schools that aren’t ivys that DACA recipients should consider.
