Scholarships for transportation/ personal expenses

<p>Hey everyone,</p>

<p>I would greatly appreciate where I can find scholarships for transportation expenses. I have applied to several colleges which are very far from the state I live in, and I think I might end up attending one of those colleges. The problem is that my family doesn't have much money, and even if I get a full scholarship from Gates Millenium or another scholarship, I will still need money for traveling. Any help is appreciated!</p>

<p>At most schools, transportation expenses are included in the school budget so financial aid (and Gates) would be expected to cover it. If you have an unusually high expense, you might ask to have that considered and some of the most generous schools might increase your budget. If you do get the Gates and find that it’s not enough, please remember that you can always work the summer ahead of school, work during the school year or take out a student loan.</p>
