Scholarships?

<p>I am from Virginia and I am very interested in attending LSU. I was wondering what type of scholarships I would be elligible for with these stats. Thank you. </p>

<p><em>There was a problem during my 10th grade year. Our BRVGS teacher blatantly stated no one in the class would be receving an A for the year, during the first week of school. This stirred up much debate, due to the fact that this is the sole B on my transcript. The school board is deciding what actions need to be taken.</em></p>

<p>I have close to 150 hours of community service, ranging from Trick or Treating to cans, to helping out at the local Santa's Workshop. I volunteer at the UVa Hopsital in the Cancer Treatment, and I have also volunteered at the local SPCA. </p>

<p>Your stats look very good. I can't imagine that a single B would make a significant difference at any school in the country. You should enter with a bunch of AP credits.</p>

<p>If you want to improve your ACT score, just practice with prep material until you get the score you need.</p>

<p>If you have more questions, just ask and I will try to find time to answer them.</p>

<p>Unfortunately LSU's scholarships have a very big ACT influence. I was nowhere near as strong an applicant as you, but my ACT was a 34, so I got the best scholarship they offer.</p>

<p>If you can get up to a 33, I'd be shocked if you didn't get a full ride.</p>

<p>LSU isn't as interested in the EC stuff.</p>
