School doesn't offer AP Physics C

Hey everyone.

I’m currently a sophomore in high school and scheduling for next year is near. Here’s my predicament:
I am interested in majoring in an engineering/physics field in college and I know that taking AP Physics C is almost a requirement for this. However, my school does not offer an AP Physics C course, and only an AP Physics B and IB Physics SL course (no HL). I was planning on taking IB Physics SL junior year. But I’m not sure what to take in senior year. What should I do?

Seems like a perfect question to discuss with your school counselor. Make an appt.

No it’s not. No college expects any applicant to take a course that the HS does not offer. An expectation of calculus (some type, not necessarily AP, and again, only if offered), yes, but not AP Physics.

Will do! Thanks for the reply!

Wow, I didn’t know that. Thank you!
