Does anyone know approximately how many freshman enroll in the School of Architecture every year? Also approximately what percentage graduate with a Bachelor of Architecture degree versus those that take the other track and graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree? I have been unable to find these kinds of statistics anywhere.

Others may chime in with better details, but according to the School of Arch, USC has 550 undergrads in all Arch majors. Since it is not uncommon for BArch (5 year) students to switch majors after matriculating (either to BS in Arch or out of the School of Arch altogether), one can assume that the total incoming freshman class is above 140.

It appears the first 2 years of the curriculum in both degrees is exactly the same, so switching among them is something that can occur without too much trouble should a student change their goals.

For specific numbers, you can always call the School of Arch admissions rep.
