Hi all,
I'm going to attend UCF this fall and I'm curious about the School of Visual Arts and Design at UCF. Naturally, I have a few questions.

Which professors are your favorite and which ones should I avoid?

Have you ever had any problems registering for classes? For example, what do you do if a class you need is not offered that semester?

Do they offer other enriching experiences such as internship opportunities, clubs, scholarships, competitions, ect?

Any other words of advice?

I really would like to know more about SVAD but any experiences you can share will be of great help. Thank you!

I have not taken much art yet but i know that deborah starr-leitch is my favorite so far!! She is awesome! take her if you can. Avoid adams. Avoid ahearn. Rate my professor will tell u this already. Also if u have to take art history take it with zaho AVOID MARTIN!! i took art history 2 online it was so easy cause ive heard horror stories about martin. havent had a problem planning my schedule only a few classes are offered in certain semesters you will just have to plan accordingly. SVAD constantly emails about exhibits, scholarship opportunities, internships, etc. they are helpful. I know there is a graphic design student association u can be a part of ( i am) but idk about other majors for SVAD youd have to look that up. UCF in general has hundreds of clubs to be a part of! Im in 7, lol.
