School Psychology Graduate Programs

Hey guys,

So I'm a sophomore at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. I want to be a School Psychologist in the future, and I'm starting to look into graduate/ doctoral programs in the field. When reviewing applicants, what is more important to admissions boards: research or real-world experience such as internships?

If you are applying to PhD programs, research is more important (and is also real-world experience, by the way. People do research for a living in the real world, and school psychologists do this too). But you should also get internships in the field if you can, because school psychologist is a practice field and practical experience is also important.
