school recommendations?

Hey guys,

I posted this before but I'm pretty sure this would be the better section so this is the url:

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/admissions-hindsight-lessons-learned/1294704-school-recommendations.html#post13928119%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/admissions-hindsight-lessons-learned/1294704-school-recommendations.html#post13928119</a></p>

Schools that I'm interested in right now are:
BC
BU
Drexel
Loyola Maryland
NYU
Syracuse

Like I said in the other post though, I really don't know much about college applications or colleges in general so suggestions would be great as well. Thanks.

anyone? would really appreciate some help

kablam, just because your gpa is a 3.6 does not make it impossible to dream or to be able to select more competitive schools. Your SAT score is excellent! You can apply at some competitive schools like Cornell too… You can have your counselor explain your gpa, and your medical problems. With good LORs and amazing essays, nothing is impossible in your case.
Your also a varsity player… I would like to show more leadership positions or community service and would be satisfied… and with that required pinch of luck you’ll set sail…

Best of luck!

Thanks a lot, anyone else wanna help me out? Maybe some specific replies regarding chances to the listed or any schools you’d recommend looking at.
