midsize public high school in PA

rank: 16th of 292

Grades:
AP English: 83%, bad marking period, had all As in English in the past, should end up with a mid B average (87-88% hopefully)
American Gov't level 1: 98
Amercan Law: 95
AP Calc 1: 85%, bad marking period, early indication is that this marking pd is looking more like a 93 or so

Class president (10, 11, and 12 if my school lets me do this and stuco prez)
There may be more, but these are the main ones.

So far, I have been looking at Penn, UNC - Chapel Hill, Bucknell, Pitt, Maryland, Syracuse, Duke. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. And, if anyone has an opinion on my chances at these schools, let me know also.
Thanks!

Sorry, I should also mention that i am interested in Physics, Math, or Business.

hi wats up

Same old, same old. sitting here thinking about starting my homework.

bump bump bump

Penn- Reach
UNC - Chapel Hill- match
Bucknell- safety
Pitt- major safety
Maryland- major safety
Syracuse- major safety
Duke- reach

You have too many safeties and a couple reaches, but only one match. Why? I think you would do alot better to only apply to one or two of the safeties and focus on getting some matches or matchy reaches. My advice is to apply to Duke, Penn, Bucknell then add four or five schools. I would add Northwestern, WUSTL, Vanderbilt, Emory, Vassar, and similar. As a reach maybe add Dartmouth, its similar to Duke and PEnn.

I would consider Rice, especially since you are looking at Duke, and they are widely considered to be the best schools in the South. Unfortunately Rice does not have an undergrad business program, but it is great in math and physics.

Thanks for the input!
Yea I didn't realize that so many of those schools were safeties. I knew Pitt and Cuse were, but i didn't realize that bucknell and UMD were safeties. I will definitely consider your suggestions!
Thanks again!

bump...anyone else with any suggestions?

Lehigh would be good, also Colgate, Michigan, Washington & Lee, BC and Williams.

...bump...
