School Suggestions please!

<p>I'm looking for an LAC or small university preferably in the northeast/mid Atlantic. I'm already interested in schools like Barnard and Brown and am looking for schools with strong biology programs and liberal environments. I also would like to avoid schools with really rigid core curriculums like Columbia and UChicago.</p>

<p>The thing I'm really having trouble with is finding safeties and matches, I have a number of reach schools but really need to balance out my list.</p>

<p>PSATs were 224 so I expect somewhere around that for the SATs this March (hopefully a little higher). 730 Chem SAT and 800 Math IIc if it helps and 3.9 UW GPA at a pretty competitive northeastern public high school.</p>

<p>I would really prefer to go to school in/very near the city, but all reach/match/safety suggestions are very much appreciated.</p>

<p>Wesleyan and Vassar would be matches.</p>

<p>Dickinson College (Carlisle, PA) would be a good safety for you.</p>

<p>Other schools to look at are University of Rochester and Haverford.</p>

<p>...and while you're looking at Haverford, check out Swarthmore, too, though it's a bit reachier.</p>
