<p>On the other hand, there is a big difference between those in the Forbes #390 to #400 range, with about $1.1 billion apiece, and Bill Gates and Warren Buffett at the top of the list, with $66 billion and $46 billion, respectively. The difference: those with a mere billion and change probably need to watch their millions, while for those in Gates-Buffett territory, it’s more like what the late Sen. Everett Dirksen reputedly once said about Congress: “A billion here and a billion there, and pretty soon you’re talking real money.”</p>
