Schools have to see AP grades?

Yeah..so I know that teachers see your AP grade probably around the time we see our AP grades. But I know there is an SAT option of not letting the school see your grade..how about with AP tests? I don't really mind my teacher seeing my grade, in fact I know she wants to see it..but I was just wondering if such an option is available ..?

I don't think so. Since you have to register for AP tests through school, you school will get a copy of your scores. Most schools add your scores to transcripts and give them to teachers. Even if you withhold grades, your high school still gets those too.

If you're talking about the colleges not seeing your scores, yes, there is that option. Go to the collegeboard website to the AP link, and you'll be able to download their pamphlet and you'll see it there.

You can withhold scores from colleges for $5 per college per test, but (I think) there's no way to hide scores from your high school

tanman - like everything else, it's gone up to $10. You can cancel them altogether for free, though. Very few will do so poorly to need that option, however.

Oh..so I guess you have to let your school see the grade.
I won't put any colleges down on the application, so I'm not worried about any colleges seeing the grade.

A.S.A.P... I didnt know about the fee increase, but coming from CB, it not a surprise ;) Thanks for the info.
