Schools w/ their own campuses/programs abroad?

Hi,

I'm a big believer in studying abroad--twenty-five years ago, I actually transferred from my US school to my "year abroad" school and got my degree from the foreign university. However, my son has a learning disability, and I think he'd do better with a college that has its own program/campus abroad, rather than one that sends students to a foreign school for an immersion experience.

Is there a list anywhere of which US schools have their own programs abroad? Thanks!

NYU actually has 2 fully functional degree granting campuses abroad - one in Abu Dhabi and one in Shanghai - they are full four year programs where you study and remain at that particular campus. There are also study abroad (e.g. For a semester) options available at those locations.

NYU also operates its own study abroad campuses, where you can study for a semester or a year in London, Ghana, Paris, Buenos Aires, Berlin, Accra, Florence, Madrid, Prague, Sydney, Tel Aviv and Washington D.C.

Yale also recently opened Yale-NUS, a combined program with the National University of Singpore, which I believe is a full four year study away program.

Tufts, and WPI.

Pepperdine.

The University of Dallas has a campus just outside of Rome, Italy. The students have the option to study one semester at that campus - usually during their sophomore year. All the students take the same classes (Core humanities classes) taught by UD professors. They are a short bus ride from the city. The semester includes side trips to other places in Italy plus a 10-day trip to Greece. They are required to leave campus on their own for a 10-day Spring or Fall break late in the semester.
