I recently transferred and really regret it, won't say the school but it's absolutely terrible for me and I wish I wasn't paying this much here. Anyway, enough crying ;) , I'm looking for a medium sized "national university" type school, maybe some larger LACs as well. The main thing I need is schools with good financial aid for transfers that also accept spring apps. Any help would be greatly appreciated! To note, I don't really care about prestige just a great academic environment that won't cost me an arm and a leg! I go to school in the 60-70 range on USNews National Universities with a 3.82 GPA for an idea of where I could get accepted. Anyways, thanks again for your help!

UVA, UNC. 10char.

Would UVA and UNC give good aid to an out of state student though?

I’m an out of state transfer for UNC and for the year I got under $4000 in loans, $2700 in work study, and the rest in grants. I’m not sure if that’s good in general, but compared to NYU (which I left primarily for financial reasons), it was fantastic :)

USC[ University of Southern Calif]

Monster that’s incredible, my EFC is fairly high though like 34k so I’m not sure I would get that kind of a deal but I’m hoping to get at least 25-30% of my tuition covered. and Menlo USC doesn’t accept spring transfers, and I’d like to be out of my current school by next Spring if I can be :)
