Hi there!
I’m currently a senior at a Canadian high school and I’ll need to make a decision on my second semester timetable pretty quick here. I’m trying to decide whether or not I should take a science course. I took Physics last year but didn’t do terribly well and didn’t really enjoy it… I was just wondering how much of an effect not taking a science would have on Uni admissions/scholarship chances.
I’m also taking Japanese, AP English Language, AP French (online) (only APs offered at my school), Français Langue (Immersion), Pre-Calculus, Literature, History and Law. My average is high 90s, but I know there seems to be a lot of emphasis on taking a lot of STEM-based subjects, and I really hate science courses as they stress me out a fair bit. I’d also like to go into elementary ed and a science 12 isn’t required, so really I’m more wondering how this would affect scholarship chances?
My apologies if this isn’t in the right section, and thanks in advance!
