Science olympiad questions again and 2 thumbs up to a new formed sci org at my school

A friend and I have just founded our version of Science Honor Society at my school. It's kind of ironic how we are medically science focused school and we don't have a SHS. We have a Latin org, spanish HS, NHS, and Mu Alpha Theta, but no science club. Anyways yay to the creation of VISO! Vinco in Scienta Omni...now to the real question

If you want to compete in the 2006-2007 science olympiad how far in advance should you get a team together, register, and prep for? I'm thinking a junior 2nd semester..I'm a junior by the way. Is that enough time? Our school has never done sci olympiad either.

well, at my school, we're already getting our team together to start fundraising. i'd say start as soon as possible, get fundraising out of the way, start studying and building well before xmas break to do well. but that's just my opinion.

My school has tryouts throughout October and November.
