Score Cancellations

I accidentally sent in all my SAT scores to my colleges through collegeboard. However, I called my mom’s bank company and they said they will dispute the money. Once Collegeboard receives the money, they will refund it because the bank cancelled the money. Is this okay to do?

Depends, if you ordered the tests sent and College board completed the order then you have a completed contract which will be difficult to dispute.

@CU123 I already ordered the tests to be sent out to Collegeboard, but the bank said that they already disputed it. I just have to wait for Collegeboard to accept the order and they have to return the money.

Even if the bank refunds the money (which is a totally different ethical question), if the CB has already sent the scores, it’s not like there is a way for them to unsend them - you can’t unring a bell.

update:: i called Collegeboard 3 times. The first two times, the people said that the bank will cancel the money transfer so my colleges will not receive the scores. I called a 3rd time to make sure. The lady on the phone told me that the bank cannot cancel the money and she canceled my scores for me.
