Some schools require all SAT test scores be sent, does that mean SAT Subject tests as well? Because I didn't do well on my subject tests, the best I earned was a 650 on the Chem which is around the 40%. Also, if a college has score choice can i just ignore the subject tests altogether or do I have to send them at least one in each subject since i took them?

Another, different question: do most colleges/universities accept scores from the SAT test in late Jan (I think its the 28) even if their regular decision deadline is jan 15? Thank you!

Very few colleges require all SAT 2 test scores – only Georgetown and Yale come to mind. Several colleges that require all SAT 1 scores do not insist on all SAT 2 scores – for example Stanford.

Each college has its own rules and thus you must check with the particular colleges to which you are applying. As to whether a college takes the Jan test, many do so but many require all testing to be completed by Dec. The same applies to whether all subject tests are required. Majority of colleges allow you to send whatever you want (and that includes any of the tests). The minority that require “all scores” have varying rules as to what that means. Some actually require all test scores, SAT, ACT and SAT subject tests, some require all SAT and ACT but not subject tests, some require all SAT and subject tests but not all ACT, some require all subject tests if you submit SAT and do not do so if you submit ACT, and some require only all SAT scores if you send SAT but not all ACT or subject tests.
