Score Choice - Confused

Hi! I have one score for the SAT I (as in, I only took it once) and I am happy with it. However, of my SAT II scores, I am happy with one (Literature) and not the other (Math), which I retook this October.

1:

If a college says it does not participate in score choice, and that you must send all SAT scores you’ve taken, does this also mean you must send all SAT II test scores you have as well?

I am talking specifically about Cornell, but in general as well.

On the Collegeboard site, as I’m filling this out my forms, if I were to de-select an SAT I score a bubble pops up that essentially says “This college requires that you send this test score!” but I am free to select/deselect SAT II scores with no notice of infringement.

2:

Also, what does this mean in plain English:

“X University strongly encourages you to submit your scores each time you take the SAT. Sending your scores each time you take the SAT can benefit you by allowing them to consider you for all available enrollment related opportunities.”

If it’s not required, why would anyone send bad/worse SAT scores?

Thanks for any help!

Bump!

In general it depends on the school. You will have to check each one individually.

2 looks like they intend to superscore results.
