score report, but no accompanying test?

CB mailed me my score report for the June SAT 1, but not the actual test. How am I supposed to tell what the questions I missed are? Should I call them and ask for a test, or are they online or something and I'm being dumb?

You don't get the test unless you pay for the Question and Answer service, which is only offered a few times a year.

Yeah, I did pay for that. I got the paper that says which questions i missed and everything, their difficulty level, and their question type. However, this is worthless w/o the test.

I've never ordered the Q&A service, but according to the website, you should get "a copy of the SAT you took, a record of your answers, the correct answers, and scoring instructions. The service also includes information about the types of questions and the level of difficulty of each question." Someone else who's gotten Q&A before might now what's up, but I would give the SAT Program people a call in the morning.

The QAS comes in the mail seperately usually weeks after you get the scores by mail

Russ, what you got was the Student Answer Service. What you got already is all that you will get, and yes, it is pretty much useless. The QAS which has the test questions is only available for certain tests and costs more. There was no QAS available for June.

Yeah, what ExRunner said. That's why you paid only $9, instead of $24 (which is what the QAS costs).

I agree that what they send you isn't particularly useful, but I still found some use out of it. For instance, I now know that three of the five Math questions I missed were Geometry, so I need to pay attention to making stupid mistakes particularly on those. Also, it shows which sections and which numbers you missed. This was helpful for me because I got caught up on one math question and found that most of my mistakes (as I had expected) came after that... so I know that I need to just skip a math question if it's taking too much time, and then just focus on the questions I'm doing.

I understand that you'd be disappointed in what you received in the mail, though. Having the entire test would obviously be far more useful, but use what you received as best you can...
