Does anyone know how we can check the status of scores that were sent to Stanford? Or any school for that matter?

Assume that they’ve received them; they will tell you if they have not or alternately, some colleges may have your application status listed as incomplete.

But will it cause problems if they havent? I sent them about 1 or 2 weeks ago…
Most schools will at some point send you user name/password login info to a site where you can check up on your app.
