Man, I would kill for some of your guys scores

1980

Math: 750
CR: 650
Writing: 580!!!!!!!!

I seriously can't believe my writing score. My range from the collegeboard test + the previously administered test was 670-750. There is no way I scored a 580. I was EXPECTING at least a 650 when i stepped outside the test center after I took the test. I'm emailing collegeboard and telling them that its gotta be a mistake.

First time taking the SATs as a junior

CR: 800

MC: 79 Essay: 12
Total: 2350

Because colleges don't care about the writing score, I don't care about the writing score. I thought I score more like 760, but whatever, it doesn't matter. The 1600 was a somewhat unexpected surprise. I was sure I was going to hit about 1560, but I won't complain. Sadly, that small little perfectionist part of me is urging me to take it again and shoot for a 800 on writing, but I won't. In the eyes of most colleges, I have a perfect score.

680 CR, 690 M, 600 W :(

1970...so...cloose..to...2000...

HEY EVERYONE!!!! i definitely agree with all of you
There's gotta be a MISTAKE!!
I used to get always over 700 for writing in the practice tests(more than 13 times straight).. at the lowest over 680. but i got 630 in the real one..

i dont get it~~~~~~

Hey, guys who are in despair because of high CR and low Math,
don't you guys know that CR is the most important section of all? read all
the admissions books, a high CR is what is valued the most.
Yes, this time everyone's writing sucked. Collegeboard def. did something wrong. But then, everyone's verbal score was CRAZILY high! the curve what too generous. CR is way more important than writing, so we just should be thankful for collegeboard for the generous CR scores. The Oct. 2006 takers are lucky, 'cause everyone seems to have gotten a high CR then deserved. What was the percentile for a 750 CR?
I bet, very low since every one scored high this time.
Then, the writing percentile went really up. I got a 700 and my percentile is 96%! last time, I got a 690 and my percentile was like 83%.
With the percentile and all, things even out, don't worry.

I got a 750 CR and 98% percentile ,so you can't say it was way too high. And I got a 730 Maths, should've got a lot better. So , let the score reports come.

WOW! was the test THAT bad??!! I didn't take it (and now I know it was a god idea)
I'm positive that if all the scores in a certain section are lower than normal, then they must have screwed up somewhere when correcting --flashback to October 2005--
Hopefully November (i.e TOMORROW!!) will not be so bad...

best of luck man

2310 Cr 780 M 730 W 800

I dont remember posting so..
710 CR 780 M 690 W. I was really hoping for 2200... i fell just shy of it. And I fell shy of 1500 too... this has happened to me in four things
1. getting the AP award (missed it because of 1 test)
2. Math field day countless times (got 3rd so many times but couldn't go to states)
and there are so more. its just some curse that I have on me..

Gyros321 , you are luckier than me man. I regularly scored 2250+ in the blue book practice tests, i ended up with 2130(1480). I have also finished 3rd in a bunch of competitions i could've won. I also missed on an award by 1 marks(how lucky) and have screwed other tests or award by 1-2 points.

My friend got:
800 - CR
750 - Math
750 - Writing
2300

780 cr
730 m
770 w

i brought this up from a 2110 from the first test! 170 points! I have no complaints with collegeboard :)

My scores just magically appeared this morning! I bet collegeboard realizes they messed up and this is all wrong lol.

740 CR (up from a 680)
680 M (meh down from a 710)
730 W (my GOD! Got a 73 on the PSAT, 730 W on April and June SATs..apparently that's my max? lol)

Total - 2150 (up from a 2120 June, and 2030 April)

If you mix and match with my last math score = 2180...just shy of the 2200 I really was hoping for.

I was expecting a 750+ on writing this time, that would have been the 2200 oh well, I'm not complaining, I'm happy enough. =)

1450 though, finally broke that 1400 that was driving me nuts (1390).

2010

I hate the essay graders. But I'm a lucky German kid that finally feels complacency after six months of abominable work. My books are so soaked with sweat that they are not legible anymore ;p
