SCU Engineering vs USC, UCD, Cal Poly, LMU

while San Jose State is highly regarded, locally at least, I would guess that overall, Santa Clara is a much much higher academic level that SJSU, IMO. and yes, getting classes at state schools these days can be quite a struggle, from what I hear.

B.u.m.p…

I’m just curious how SCU is for business or English/etc. I’m not a math or science person but I’m really interested in the college. Thanks!

Oh, and nightlife/parties. Haha

Another Bum…" LMU us SCU vs CP Pomona us Gonzaga for civil or aerospace.

Another bump …

(1) how does Honors interact with Engineering at SCU? It sounds like the Honors program offers small seminar classes that are more appropriate to business or liberal arts students. What are the advantages of Honors for Engineering students?

(2) Does SCU help arrange opportunities for Engineering students to do internships, co-ops, or summer jobs at NASA Ames or silicon valley tech companies? Is it common for students to do this sort of thing?
